From Faro airport (& the east and the north).
We are situated 50 minutes drive west of Faro airport - approximately 60km.

In the event of any changes to your journey, or should you lose your way, please call our keyholders Claire & Hans for advice on (00 351) 282332846 or mobile:934782807.  They will be waiting to meet you at the farm when you arrive.  If you decide to stop off for lunch or to do some shopping on route from the airport please have the courtesy to phone them & advise them of your delay.

• N.B. The east-west motorway was redesignated the A22 during 2002 but not all signs have been changed. In some cases it is still shown as the IP1 or the IC4.
• As you leave Faro airport follow the blue signs to the A22 (or IP1) motorway, the main east-west road cutting across the Algarve.
• After 3km, follow the signs for the motorway to Lisbon (Lisboa), Portimao, and Loule. This takes you on to the main N125 heading north, away from Faro.
• After a further 4.5km bear left, continuing to follow the signs to the A22 / IP1; the right fork is the N125 to Almancil.
• After a further 3.5km, join the A22 motorway; follow the signs to Lisbon, Portimao and Albufeira. After 22km you pass the intersection where the new motorway from Lisbon (A2) joins the A22.
• Stay on the motorway for a further 2km and take the next exit signposted Lisboa / Ourique (IC1).
• Head North on the IC1 for approximately 12km.
• Take the exit signposted Silves/ Salir.
• Turn left at roundabout off sliproad going under the motorway.
• Go straight over roundabout heading for Messines/ Silves (N124).
• Go past Messines on your right and continue on N124 for approximatley 3km.
• Pass Amorosa turning on your right.
• You will see an antiques shop with steam engine to front.
• Turn right 300m after shop, signposted "Cortes".
• Follow road through the hamlet of Cortes until first distinct right turning, and turn right at this point (no sign here).
• Follow road round and down into valley for 3km's until you reach Gregorios.
• Go through hamlet. Palmerias is 50 metres on your right after passing Gregorios end signpost.
